Chronic Illness and Disability Support
Living with a chronic illness or disability — or caring for someone who is — can deeply affect every aspect of life. I provide therapy that integrates both mind and body, helping individuals and families navigate the emotional, physical, and relational challenges that come with long-term health conditions.
My approach focuses on the whole person and recognizes how our physical health and emotional well-being directly influence one another. Together, we work to build resilience, restore balance, and create space for hope and healing, even in the midst of uncertainty.
I work with:
-
Individuals managing their own chronic or terminal illness or disability.
-
Families and caregivers supporting a loved one through illness, including children, partners, and aging parents.
-
Those coping with medical complexity, navigating healthcare systems, or struggling to balance self-care with caregiving responsibilities.
I have specialized experience supporting individuals and families facing:
-
All stages of cancer, including end-of-life care.
-
Chronic and progressive conditions such as dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, and Multiple Sclerosis.
My background includes a master’s degree from a medical program, where I trained alongside physicians. This experience allows me to bridge the gap between medical and emotional care — understanding diagnoses not only from a psychological perspective but also through a clinical lens.
